Description of Project activities

Project EX.PO AUS includes the following activities:

  • creation of a communication strategy and creation of dissemination strategy: a project logo and an institutional communication graphic standard;
  • creation of a project brochure in English, plus section in national languages;
  • creation of a project website in English and all project partners’ languages;
  • organisation of local and cross-border seminars and workshops of high training on preparation and implementation of the management plan;
  • publication of booklets about the management plans and publication of the final report on the joint approach;
  • organizing thematic working groups on: Restoration of architectural decoration, Dry stone, Historical Vernacular Heritage of the two Adriatic coasts and Renewable energy;
  • establishing multilingual website on new knowledge and methodologies on archaeological sites preservation and restoration;
  • realisation of pilot projects: all pilot projects will be strongly connected and related to the topics tackled by the project: dry stone techniques, conservation of mosaics, promotion and valorisation of UNESCO Sites, use of modern technologies (energy saving) on UNESCO sites;
  • sharing experience and results of the pilot projects: cross-border seminar and booklet, creation and presentation of a specific booklet spreading the contents of the pilot actions;
  • joint cultural-tourism valorisation of UNESCO sites of the Adriatic sea, preparation of a high professional DVD illustrating the main characteristics of UNESCO sites of the Adriatic involved in EX.PO AUS;
  • design and promotion of inter-Adriatic tourist packages “UNESCO SITES OF THE ADRIATIC SEA”
