The Kick-Off meeting of the EX.PO AUS Project, funded within the Adriatic IPA CBC 2007-2013 program, started with the implementation of its activities during a Kick-Off meeting organized by the Lead Beneficiary, the City of Dubrovnik, on December 18-19, 2012 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Through the cooperation of 12 partners from 7 countries included in the programme area, the project aims to conceive and execute an innovative and very articulated long-term strategy addressing the management and valorisation of the UNESCO sites along the Adriatic Sea. The partnership will address new ideas, tools and actions geared towards the good management and sustainable economic valorisation of these sites, incorporating ecological and energy efficiency principles.
During the Kick Off meeting, the Project Partners discussed the main objectives and activities of the project; analyzing work packages, their activities and outputs; the workplan; upcoming challenges; project management, reporting, public procurement procedures, as well as an introduction to the M.I.S. system.
